Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

UPDATE 3/15/07
Elliot is coming along nicely! He was sick with kennel cough for the first two weeks he was here in his foster home but has completed his medications and has been cough free for over 2 weeks now. Elliot is now playing with the other dogs here, loves to sleep in bed next to his foster mom and dad and wants nothing more then to please his people. We feel that he would be an excellent candidate for agility classes as he is nimble, very attentive and gets along great with other dogs. Please read his entire bio on this page if you are interested in adopting Elliot.

Hi! My name is Elliot and I'm a 1 1/2 year old Miniature Poodle. I was turned over to the shelter because my owners didn't want to bother taking care of me. I was severly matted and dirty when I came in. There is a reason why my name used to be Cuddles. I LOVE to be loved on and cuddle with my people. I'm very healthy, sweet and can't wait to go to my own new home. I am not totally housetrained yet but I get along great with other dogs and love to play!
Elliot is up to date on all his vaccines, heartworm tested (negative), has been wormed and will be neutered prior to adoption. Please read this entire bio before inquiring to adopt.
Elliot's adoption fee is $235

Our adoption procedure is as follows: * Email the foster person and ask for an application. * Submit the application to the foster person * Application will be reviewed, personal and vet references will be checked * A phone call to the potential adopting home may be made and/or emails sent with further questions. * Home visit scheduled and completed
***Rescue Alliance DOES NOT ship. It is the responsibility of the new adopter to arrange pick up.
Rescue Alliance does not adopt out to homes with unaltered pets, homes with invisible fencing or children under 5 years old. If you are intersted in this furbaby, email the foster coordinator at crestedmommy@yahoo.com for an application. Rescue Alliance is a group of foster homes across the country with no specific shelter. We do not have a specific shelter for folks to visit. ********************************************************** Are you aware that dogs do best when they aren't alone? Dogs are pack animals and really do best with another dog around while their pack leaders are at work or out of the home. We strongly suggest that folks have another dog for the new rescue to be a companion with. Senior or adult dogs make GREAT 2nd dogs. No chewing, usually potty trained and there is always an abundance of them. Have you considered adopting a senior? It's very rewarding and most senior small dogs live to be 13+ years old! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Please note: We do not adopt out young dogs to senior citizens but will be glad to take your application for a senior dog!
