Callie wants to be your new BFF (Best Feline Friend)! She is pretty calico girl with a spot on her nose and bright yellow green eyes. Callie is pretty sure she was a queen in a former life. She is very regal, loves attention and is very talky with you. Not loud, but if you talk to her, she's happy to have long conversations.
Callie was recently returned to the CatWorks when her owner moved. She took some time learning to adapt to being in foster care after losing her home and human family. We found out Callie is quite people oriented, once she decided she better leave the back of the water heater and get out and meet these new people. She has been fostered with other cats and kittens and was living with her sister Maisey, who has since found a new home. Callie likes things her way and can be bossy around other felines. She will clash with another dominant cat. Callie would be fine as an only cat, or she may adapt to a laid back, confidant feline friend or two. Integrating her into a feline family would not be a fast process.
Callie is spayed, front declawed, up to date on her regular vaccinations, FIV tested negative and litter box trained. The CatWorks currently has many wonderful adult cats currently that are available for adoption who are looking for a second chance for love. Too often financial and personal issues require that people surrender pets who are loving companions with the misfortune of being caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
