My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Salem is a cute white miini schnauzer and a toy at 11 lbs.. Very friendly and active. She warms up quickly to people. She is fine with the big dog now she will even seek her out to play. She is playful and active but loves to be your cuddlebug too. She sleeps well in her xpen at night but loves her daily naps with the toddler in bed with her curled up right at her feet. She is GREAT with kids and warms up quickly to anyone. (My bio dad is a long haired tattooed leather wearing biker dude and she LOVES him so even your typical "scary" looking people she is interested in). She loves to run and romp in the yard and thinks snow is the neatest thing since sliced bread she noses at it and rolls around on her back in it. She is great with the kids who are 10, 8 and 2 has never growled or attempted to snap at any of them. She is missing all her teeth but happy on her dry food and hard treats. Loves to be petted under he chin. Even gives kisses...Her potty skills are doing great. She has a fenced in yard and is not leash trained as of yet. She warmed up quickly to grandpa when he visited. Grandma came to visit and she went to be loved on. Salem needs a fenced in y ard, She likes to wander and visit neighbors. This lst picture is not of Salem, she was shaved down when she came in because she was so matted, this picture will give you an idea of what she will look like with a beard and leggins.

Salem's adoption fee is $295 (her vet bill cost) and included all the vetting below and neutered/spay. Plus a dental and she is pre paid registered for a microchip. Saves you $........Salem is being fostered by Amanda and her family in Canton OH area. About 7 years young and 11 lbs. Has had a dental and is good for several years...... Is MICROCHIPPED.

Most of our dogs need a sibling furkid, someone to play with and interact with and continue to learn being a pet after adopted. Some are independent and can be an only dog. Not all need a fenced in yard, but if you don't have a fenced in yard, we ask you to purchase an exercise pen so that the dog can be safe when outside and small dogs can not be tie out dogs. This pet needs
Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them and some potty pad train them and work on potty skills. When your application is approved, you will speak with the foster Mom for more information and you can check then at what point each foster dog is at. Dogs learn quickly and most are pretty far along or trained by the time of adoption.

____ has been examined by our vet, had a 5/1 annual shot, a rabies shot and tag dewormed, heart worm tested and passed. Spayed or Neutered before adoption. Our rescues are on flea/tick and heartworm monthly preventatives in season. We also do a dental if our vet deems it necessary which is included in our adoption fee.

Our adoption fee covers all vetting expenses and sometimes a small donation to cover the dogs food and care, toys medicines and supplies while in foster care.

We send your new dog home with a copy of all vet paperwork, adoption papers, a small bag of the dog food they have been on and information on taking care of the dog. Also a health folder for your vet and notes from our foster mom on their schedule, habits and socialization skills.

We do adopt our rescue dogs to adjourning states and some others within driving distance of the foster family. We DO NOT SHIP OUR DOGS--the adoptive parents must meet the dog at the foster mother’s home. This will give the adoptive family a chance to meet the dog before they adopt it. Our dogs are fostered in NE Ohio and surrounding area in private homes we are not a SHELTER! You must apply and make an appointment to meet with the foster family and at their home location above in the description. Before you apply, please be sure you can come within 2 weeks after your application is approved to adopt your rescue dog.
