Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful girl is Camellia - one of the sweetest cats ever! She loves other quiet cats and kittens but is intimidated by alpha or overly confident ones. In these situations she tends to hang in the background and live on the periphery. She constantly tries to show her subservience by slowly walking up to them and trying to rub up against them but will back down immediately if given a "look" by a more dominant cat. Because of her shy nature she probably wouldn't do well with an active / hyper dog. A quiet older doggie may suit her fine though.
In general she is a very happy cat requiring / demanding very little attention. When she purrs - you know it - you can hear it across the room. She will not seek out your lap but if you pick her up and scratch her head and belly she just radiates contentment and will lay there for a long time - her grumbly purr will melt your heart. Since she spent the first 7 weeks of life on a farm she has a natural curiosity and playfulness with toy mice and balls ("what's that?"). She also really gets into a good game of laser pointer (see video taken at 4 months of age). Despite her shyness she should bond nicely to a quiet household who will give her the time she needs to get comfortable. Any family willing to provide her an understanding and loving environment will be richly rewarded by a lifelong companion.
