Wally was transferred to us after he was left at a shelter due to his owners divorcing. When they left him all they said was he was between 8-9 yrs old. Wally has seen our vet, been neutered, brought current on his shots and had his teeth cleaned. Wally has also been groomed and you can tell he feels much better now. He is settling into his foster home and will be ready for his forever home after 11-26-11. Don't let his age scare you away, he is a happy, healthy boy that doesn't act 8 yrs old. Wally is moderately over weight (he is currently 31.5 pounds!) and has been placed a diet to help him get to a healthy weight. Someone that is active that will help him keep his weight off would be perfect for Wally!
11/2/11 Wally has adapted very well in his foster home. He gets along great with his foster siblings (male mini. schnauzer & female boxer). They play & wrestle alot. He definitely does not look or act his age! He is a great dog! Active but not hyper & VERY sweet! He is housebroken & doesn't mind being in a crate at night or when we are gone. He likes to go for walks but is also happy just to hang out around the house when nothing is going on. He is on a diet & exercise program to get his weight down to a healthy level. Keep watching for updates!
