My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Della was taken to the shelter with her two babies. Her owner no longer wanted to care for her. Della was heartbroken. The folks at the shelter felt horrible for Della and her babies. Della was a shelter favorite in a high kill shelter. She was so sweet and loving that the shelter reached out to Dog Star Pit Bull Rescue and made an urgent plea to save Della and the babies. Dog Star agreed, so in fact Della with her kind eyes and calm demeanor was able to save her life as well as the lives of her pups on the date they were all to be put to sleep. Della is approximate 1-2 yrs old and about 45 pounds. Della is great with kids and dogs. She loves to give kisses and has the most beautiful eyes! Della is up to date on shots, has been spayed and will be microchipped in the next couple of weeks.
