My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 Adoption pending! 

Mercy is a Shar Pei/English Bulldog mix that has had a bit of a rough life so far.  She was very neglected by her previous owners.  She was surrendered to a shelter and spent 8 months there before coming into our rescue. 

Mercy has some issues from being in the shelter for so long.  She knows some obedience commands but needs someone who is firm but gentle with her to get her back on track.  She can be a bit of a handful but she is a very loving dog.  At one point in her life, she was a housedog but she needs a refresher on housetraining as she was in the shelter for so long.  Needs a home without livestock or poultry.

 

Mercy loves to play in water, she loves the kiddie pools at her foster home.  She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. 

 

Adoption fee to be determined.  Out of state adoptions are welcome.  However, if you are interested in adopting Mercy and are not in our area, you must be prepared to provide transportation for her.  We do not ship our dogs, adopters must be able to pick them up or meet within a reasonable distance of the rescue.  Thanks for understanding!
