Meet Linus!
Linus is a 7 year old, "Labradoodle" weighing 55 lbs.
He was rescued from a puppy mill auction- where breeders sell their dogs and puppies to other breeders (or rescuers when they are present). Linus was rescued with his sister Lindsay- they have never been separated and prefer a home together. They take comfort in cuddling against each other when they are stressed or afraid but are actually more willing to interact with new people when they cannot get to each other. They both prefer women to most men or children. He is not as terrified of children as most puppy mill dogs and would be okay with a well behaved child that is at least 5 but older children are preferred.
Linus loves other dogs and enjoys romping and playing with them in the yard.
He is not completely housetrained but is cratetrained and would prefer to remain crated while the family is away. A crate is Linus' "safe place" and access to it when he is afraid or stressed is necessary. He will often go into the same crate as his sister (if it is an extra large one) but is equally happy in a crate right next to her.
Linus is neutered, fully vaccinated (including bordetella and canine influenza), microchipped, dewormed and fecal checked negative, heartworm tested negative, kept on monthly heartworm prevention and given seasonal flea/tick prevention.
His adoption fee is 100.
Fenced Yard Required- no exceptions. Other adoption requirements are listed below.
