My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

11/22/12 Poppie does not show well at adoptions. She needs someone to give her a real chance. She came from a sad situation and has been in foster care over a year. Are you the one who might understand her?
5/1/12 Poppie needs a family to take a chance on her. After spending time with both girls together it would probably be best to separate them. Poppie is very sweet in the home atmosphere once she knows you. First meeting she is very unsure and would lash out. Is there someone special for Poppie. Sadly with her mother she is not house trained but she could surely learn. Please contact us on her behalf.
10/11/11 Meet the new girls. Fifi age 5 and Poppi age 3 were surrendered to Animal Control. The girls were found by a wandering 4 yr old boy tethered to two different trees. The unchaperoned 4 yr old boy tried to pick up one of the girls and she (unknown) snapped at him. The unchaperoned boy ran home to get his mother who followed him back with a stick to beat the tethered dogs. Rather than pay the fines the owner sadly abandoned the girls. Fifi is a bit unsure of new things but loves to sit in your lap. Poppi is very outgoing and loves to run and play in the yard. After spending 10 days in the county quarantine frightened half to death they are now looking for new homes. We are going to try to keep the girls together. They may be mom and daughter and obviously love each other. If you would like more information please correspond on their behalf. The perfect home for the girls would be a quiet environment without children. Their adoption fee will be adjusted if both dogs are adopted together. ONLY EMAILS FOR THE GIRLS PLEASE!
