Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LAILA - pretty as a picture - a Jack Russell Terrier mix - when full grown she'll probably be a small/medium dog - her soft ears may be floppy or upright - a surprise for us - rosy tan and white hair, four white paws and the tiniest paintbrush tip of white on her tail is blended to perfection and tied up in a bundle of loving playfulness - could any puppy be more enchanting! - this girl is ready for her place with a loving forever family - she is house trained - kids to romp with if they are gentle and loving will strengthen her love for running, chasing and toy tugging - and she has masses of puppy kisses and ear lickings to offer - what fun will be had by all! - if you have a playful dog that is looking for a playmate like Laila, you could be just about the luckiest family in town
Laila has been working on leash acceptance, and while she resists direction once in a while she generally enjoys her discovery outings - that nose is sensitive, inquisitive and easily delighted - after a good run or playtime she is happy to crash in her crate or on a lap for a snooze - interesting textures, toys, chair legs and pillows still look edible to this puppy, so until all her adult teeth have come through, her new family will have to teach her to focus on the "proper things to chew" - it won't be long now until this stage passes - and she does learn pretty fast - call her name and she comes running, so the first hurdle in the game of distraction is already won.
Laila is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations - she is ready to move to her forever home
if you are interested in Laila, please call her foster mom Elaine, at: 505-232-4719
