My story

Hello pug lovers. My name is Romeo. I am sorry to say that I came into rescue because the nice lady that owned me got real sick and could not take care of me anymore. She did love me though, so I am used to getting and giving love. I am a very happy and content pug boy. I do enjoy the company of the other pugs here in my foster home, but my favorite thing is being with my human. One of the things I like to do best is sit on your lap. I do enjoy my food… so I’m always watching my boyish figure! I am totally house trained and only mark my territory outside.

I have struggled with some allergies and skin irritations in the past but I am eating a grain free dog food and doing so much better now. I do need a home that understands allergies though, so they will just stay on top of mine, and then I should do fine.

I am a big love bug who just needs a person to love me and give me a soft bed to sleep in. Could that person be you?? I was an only dog in my original home so I would do okay as any only pug, too. Really I am happy wherever I am.
