My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moe is a 7 year old red smooth male dachshund who weighs about 14 pounds. He was surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for him. Moe was in basically good health and neutered, just requiring some immunization updates from our rescue veterinarian.

Moe is so sweet, and his favorite activity is seeking out your attention and affection. His second favorite activity is munching down treats! His coat is satiny, and people find him irresistible to pet because of his soft coat. Moe is housetrained and gets along well with other dachshunds. He would love a playmate and would thrive in home with at least one other dachshund.

Being an adult, Moe has outgrown all the destructive dachshund "bad habits", like chewing on things and getting into trouble, that are more common with younger dogs. No chewed up pillows, no shredded curtains, no scratched cabinets, no soiled carpets - you won't have to worry about those things with Moe!
