UPDATE: Well, life has been great so far in foster care! I recently changed foster homes but for a good reason. I loved my other foster home and was a wonderful and loved dog there but my current foster mom took care of me for a couple of days and she fell in love with me and what a great dog that I am! I still get to see my other foster mom and I love her just as much and tell her so each time I see her. At my new foster home, I have two sister dogs and a cat who I love to play with. Change doesn't bother me at all! I roll with the punches as you humans say. All of the qualities I possessed before still hold true; housebroken, crate trained, good with other dogs (although I probably would rather have you all to myself:), love to sleep in bed, and am trustworthy in the house. When I go outside I love to hunt anything that moves like birds or squirrels. I haven't caught them but I wait patiently for them when they go up the tree. My foster mom thinks that I am waiting to play with them if they would only give me a chance. I have been known to catch my fair share of snakes though. I have been the unfortunate receipent of two cottonmouth bites at my old foster home but was rushed to the vet and survived! I was just protecting my house from them! Believe me, I didn't like the end result for me! Everyone who meets me comments on my beautiful coat and gorgeous highlights. Truly, there has to be a reason that I am still waiting for my special someone....I have done everything right. Won't you come find me soon?
UPDATE: I am hear to tell you that you are missing out on the most unbelievable and unique dog! Where are you ever going to find a dog that looks and acts exactly like me? I am the quintessential perfect house/apartment/condo/town home dog who is full grown, has a short coat, and only weighs 44 lbs. I love my foster mom's large yard but don't require lots of exercise so no yard and walks are fine with me. I do enjoy my naps in the a/c, have a wonderful disposition, and am longing for my forever human companion. Don't miss out on a gem like me! Call today to meet me; you will not regret it!
UPDATE: I just wanted to let everyone know that you are missing out on a great dog, ME! I am easy going, love to take walks, get along well with any animal, and love people. I am gentle and sweet and need to find someone who will truly appreciate me! By the way, I have stopped growing and am a perfectly sized dog for any size home!!! Come out and take another look at me!
UPDATE: I took some new pictures to show you my natural beauty. My foster mom says that those highlights are not man made! She says I have the most unique coat ever! She loves my laid back personality and says I am a wonderful companion. I hope you will give me a chance to show you both my outward as well as my inward beauty! I promise not to disappoint!
I feel so lucky to have been taken off the street before anything bad happened. I love everyone; dogs, cats, and even bunnies! My foster mom says that I am almost completely potty trained and am crate trained. I love to play, am pretty docile, and walk very well on a lead. I certainly would love to meet my new family soon! I like to snuggle in bed or just be right by your side! If you are in need of a best friend; that is me!
