My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About two years ago, the doggie gods got together and, over a porterhouse bone, said "Let's make a dog who can change all people into dog people. Let's make a Staffordshire terrier mix who will show the world that bull terrier breeds can be the most gentle, loving, sweet and docile dogs. Let's create a dog who, even at 50-plus pounds, is a lap dog at heart." And that's how Gracie came to be.

Gracie is pure love. She had a litter when she was rescued so she has a maternal quality that extends to every single dog and human, regardless of shape, size or breed, that she meets. She is housebroken and walks beautifully on a leash. She loves hikes in the hills and always stays on the trail. She is respectful and gentle, and just aims to please. She is around 2 years old with years of love to give.

She would do best in a home with other dogs, people she can hang with, kids -- or a combination of all three. She can sleep peacefully in her special spot and be mellow, but she is at her best when she's being social and playful. She touches everyone who meets her and will, without a doubt, bring even more light and love into your life. That's what she was put here to do. She deserves a wonderful home where she will be cherished.
