My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty girl was found as a stray in Georgia and we were contacted by a "friends of the shelter" organization to see if we could take her in and transport to our rescue was arranged. She was adopted last spring along with Gadget, but the owners had to return them both when one of the owners became ill and they could no longer care for the dogs properly. We believe Genna is a Dalmatian but possibly mixed with terrier. She's a beautiful young girl with pale blue eyes. Though she hasn't been tested, we are pretty certain that she is not deaf. Genna weighs around 37lbs. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. She's both house and crate trained and walks well on the leash. She is a little apprehensive around men, but she is slowing learning to trust. But once you earn her trust, she follows you everywhere. Genna has been spayed and is UTD on all her vaccines. She has been diagnosed with a heart murmur, however, the vet indicates that it should not keep her from living a normal, active life. Medication, if ever needed, is relatively inexpensive. Genna will make a great addition to a family with lots of love and attention to give her.
