My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable baby, Sasha, comes to us from an overcrowded shelter. Sasha is just a baby, his adult teeth are not yet in fully. He is around 5 months old and weighs around 39lbs - Sasha has grown and gained 6 lbs over the past weeks - he still has some growing to do. Sasha is a very sweet and gentle baby and he was confused with what was going on in his life being homeless, landing at the shelter and the long trip to Baltimore. He settled in beautifully in his foster home. Sasha loves people and other dogs--he enjoyed meeting the guests after the Thanksgiving dinner. He also loves to go on play dates with the neighbor pups. Sasha also does well with the cats in his foster home. He is little shy when first meeting new people, but he warms up quickly. He likes to accompany the children to the school bus. Sasha knows basic obedience commands and is doing well with the house training. He even knows some tricks and he will roll over several times to get the treat reward. Sasha loves his toys and enjoys chewing his special toy. Sasha is looking for a family that has the time and patience for a puppy and who will take him to obedience classes, so that he can become a well behaved and self-confident young man.


It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children since we don't have foster homes with young children to evaluate the dogs. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application.
