This handsome young man, Rolo, was found wandering the streets of Baltimore and landed in an overcrowded shelter. It is hard to believe that his family did not come looking for this sweet boy. He soon ran out of time and the shelter staff loved him, so they contacted us about him. He was so happy even in the scary and stressful environment of the shelter that he wagged his tail at everyone he saw. He knew that the staff and volunteers were bringing him treats. Rolo was very skinny and he managed to gain some weight since his arrival, he loves mealtime. Rolo has an excellent appetite and he is a big boy, currently around 80lbs. He is a good boy, he loves-loves-loves to snuggle. He is a leaner too. Rolo is not too energetic for a shepherd and he likes to hang out with his people. He walks quite well on the leash, is well behaved and very housebroken. Even at the shelter he managed to keep his crate clean. Rolo is crate trained and does well in the crate. He is a very handsome man, his gorgeous red coat matches nicely the fall colors. Rolo is looking for a family to call his own - this time forever.
It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children since we don't have foster homes with young children to evaluate the dogs. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption. If you can offer our sweet and handsome man Rolo a loving forever home, please submit an on-line application by
