Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack was found lonely and starving on the mean streets of Chicago. A wonderful vet took him into his clinic and contacted the rescue. Poor little Jack was starved for affection and food.
He's a chihuahua on the larger size - around 8 pounds. Commonly called a "deer type" chihuahua.
His joy in having someone care about and for him has been evident every minute of every day. He would do best in a home where he’s lavished with attention. He’d do great with another dog or two to play with. Jack even likes cats! He’s VERYactive and, like all young boys, can be quite tenacious and doesn’t always know when to quit. He’ll chase toys and play all day long if he can. He also loves to wrestle and run around with other dogs. He truly believes he's Mr. Rough & Tough. He also loves to go for walks and explore the neighborhood. He's great in the car and thoroughly enjoys "going visiting".
He loves snuggling and is elated if he can share your bed and covers. He follows his foster mom everywhere and only wants to be near you.
He has discovered fun again and has turned into quite the little goofball. His new family will adore watching him discover new things and places. He is a very special little boy and would be a joy to anyone who shares their life with him.
