Maya, sweet Maya, so many good things to say about this little diamond. Maya was spotted living in a parking lot for over 5 months. She would find shelter under the cars and nobody seemed to want to get involved to help. Then she came to the attention of a couple of rescuers and the rescue process began. She was extremely stressed and scared when she first went into her foster home but it's amazing what a lot of love and several welcoming, friendly, four legged friends will do to change a behavior. She slowly but surely came out of her shell and she is know known to all of us as 'the perfect dog.'

She has learned to trust and has a wonderful smile on her face night and day. It was a great day when she first learned to play with the other dogs and realized that life really can be fun. She is extremely affectionate and will bond deeply to anyone that will show her the love she so deserves. She is wonderful with ALL dogs and cats. She is low key, rarely barks and will be perfect for someone who wants a dog to snuggle with and love. She is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on all her vaccines. Maya is estimated to be about a year oldand we believe that perfect home for her would be a home with a doggie companion to play with. We don't ever want her to feel alone again. Adoption fee, adoption questionnaire, adoption contract, and home check will be required. This is one very special dog and we are looking for one very special family for her to belong to.
