My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ms Miya came from a Northeast animal control center. With the threat of Hurricane Irene possibly coming to Florida, Many dogs would not have made it thru the storm in this facility. Miya is a small Yorkie/mini Schnauzer . She has the golden/black color of a Yorkie. She is 6 lbs. A house hold of small dogs and no small children. 5 yrs of age or older. A fenced in yard is a requirement
We had to shave Miya down to get her knots and debris that was entangled in her coat. She has been to a groomer and trimmed. Her coat will grow in nicely now. Miya has gained at least a lb or two. She loves playing in the yard and is potting trained for a supervised doggie door. . She can not be left unattended when using the door. We kennel our rescues at night to house break them. It will be up to the new owners to complete the training.
