Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there! My name is Roy. I am 5 years old, handsome, very sweet, gentle, recently retired from biomedical research and now loving life in the big real world. My sleeping arrangements are in my crate which is in my foster parents' bedroom which I keep it clean and dry all night. When meeting new people, I am a little cautious, however once I sniff you and check you out, I will be your pal!
I love my ears rubbed, however I am not too fond of belly rubs.being on my back makes me a little nervous. I love being outside running around and play well with my canine foster siblings. A secure fenced in yard is a must for me! I am good on a leash walk as well. :)
I am relatively quiet, however once in a while I will let out a big "WOO WOO". Loud noises startle me easily, so a home with a lot of activity or very young children would not be the best for me. I am easily distracted, so I need to be fed in my crate. I like my crate and sometimes will even go in it just to rest on my own. While I am told I am a good boy, I do have a small mischievous streak (what beagle doesn't?) and just might steal your socks, so it is best you put them away. If you think I would make a great addition to your family, then please inquire about me and help me find my "furever home".
