My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Jessy, I am an adorable 2- year-old little girl just waiting for my forever home. When I say I'm little I really mean it, I am only 20 pounds but I pack in a lot of personality! My favorite activity is knifing around in the backyard. I just love being outside following my nose around the yard, so a fenced in yard would be perfect for me. I get along great with other dogs and cats and I'm really hoping that I will have other furry siblings in my forever home. I am housetrained to a schedule, and I keep my crate clean all day while my foster family is away. I love spending my time snuggled up on the couch taking naps, especially if I can cuddle up with my family!
I can sometimes be a little nervous when I hear loud noises or see sudden movements. We've worked on this a lot in my foster home and I am getting better by the day, but I will probably have a little setback in my forever home, so you'd need to work with me on that! I am not a major howler, but I certainly will let you know when someone is at the door!
When I first got to my foster home I was very fearful of men, but with a little patience and a lot of perseverance (and trust on my part!) I am working through this. It will still take some time for to warm up, though. so a patient adopter is a must! I am OK with children. When kids come over to visit me I will play for a little while and then go take a nap, kids tire me out!
