Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Dazzle, and will I ever dazzle you! I am a gorgeous tricolor, with white diamonds down my back, and the most soft, short, silky coat - I don't leave much hair anywhere, or drool. I am quite petite, only 35 pounds, and very clean and tidy - can you believe I spent a week in that AWFUL pound, and came out still clean? It wasn't easy. I am of course completely housebroken, and far too much of a lady to ever get in an altercation with another dog.
My foster mom says I have apparently been spoiled completely rotten before somehow ending up in the pound . This may be true, but I'm a princess basset and she's just not as devoted to my care and comfort as I'd like, so the sooner you adopt me the better, I say. You will never need to buy me a dog bed, I certainly have no use for one, however I will require several pillows on the couch, I like to heap them up and sleep there, days, and of course nights you know where I'll be.
I find Cats to be boring. I have very nice house manners, and am very gentle with food and other beings. My foster mom says I have never had any obedience training (whatever THAT is). I wait nicely in the car when out for a ride or shopping, but I do NOT stay very quietly in a crate or pen, unless someone is firm with me. I do not care for being treated like a dog and will let you hear a most unlady-like bay if I feel I'm confined unjustly. My foster mom is working on that. She was Sleepless in Chandler the first night she crated me, let me tell you! Funny, she doesn't LOOK like she's part Basset, but she was rather basset-y about getting her way... I have given up for now, and will go politely in a crate and let THIS household sleep... but just for here...
I'm quite healthy, and in great condition, but my teeth are filthy - I've been probably on a soft-food diet more than is good for me. The pound said I was 8, but my dirty teeth fooled them, the vet said I am only about 5 or 6! I'm spayed and have my shots already, so I might be ready to go really soon!
