My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is "Gunner" and somehow I ended up in the Sand Springs Animal Control. I was there for a long time, with no bedding, and just concrete to sleep on. I ended up getting these horrible lumps on my elbows, called "Elbow Hygroma." It was not painful, just ugly!!! The doctor said it was caused from sleeping on a hard surface to the point of the elbow bone traumatizing the soft tissue!

Anyway, my human who rescued me from that hard old floor has gotten me well. She got me the softest feather mattress with lots of blankets. I was in heaven!!! My human has fostered me for almost 3 months and now I am ready to go to my forever family.

I love my humans teenage grandchildren and love to kiss the little ones too. I am very gentle and sweet. I got fixed today and the doctor said I was a great dog and would make someone a good pet! He said I didnt even flinch when he stuck the needle in to sedate me! I want to be a good boy all the time.

I live with 3 other big dogs and we get along great! We like to play and lay in the plastic swimming pool together! I love to be outside with you and the other dogs, but like to be in the house and sleep with my humans and snuggle with my stuffed animals.
