Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella was found as a stray in January of 2010 and taken to Georgetown Animal Hospital in Indianapolis where she sat for 6-8 months, until she finally found a home. In September of 2011 she was returned by her owner because she had been frightened by one of their small children and had snapped at them. The owner fully understands that Bella did NOT intentionally hurt the child and was frightened, however she relinquished custody back to Georgetown Animal Hospital nonetheless.
Bella's front legs are bowed most likely because of malnutrition as a puppy, but that doesn't slow her down! Bella needs a home that is calm. she can be very shy around strangers but she does warm up to people once she gets to know them. She does get along well with dogs her size or smaller; however she can be intimidated by dogs that are bigger and/or more dominant than she is. She also does well with cats.
If you would like more information about Bella or would like to meet with Bella, Please contact Georgetown Animal Hospital at (317) 293-4001
