My story

::ADOPTION PENDING:: This lovely 14 month old young lady is Emma. Emma and her brother Apollo came into GUARD together, and although they are bonded, we felt it would be easier to work with them if they were separated, as together they tend to "gang up on the world". Emma has been pretty sheltered, living in a quiet home in a rural area with few visitors - so she's understandably quite frightened by all the new changes. She is a very skittish girl who is currently being worked with to overcome her mistrust of strangers, and is responding beautifully. She is currently fostered with a 1 and 8 year old, two cats, and a Pekinese, and is adapting to everyone very well. Emma is a VERY sweet, very gentle young girl, and we feel she will make lots of progress in socialization, and make a wonderful family dog.
