UPDATED BIO 11/03/2011: RYDER is a 5 month old 7 lb 4 oz Morkie (a maltese/yorkie mix). Here’s what Ryder had to say recently when a UYR ‘reporter’ interviewed him:
Howdy Everybody – I’m Ryder! I’m having lots of fun at my Foster Mom’s house, but I really would like my very own furever family. My day usually starts with breakfast (yum! yum!). Then I go outside to do my ‘business’. My fursister and I then usually run around the house and play like crazy. When she gets bored with me, I run over to my toy basket and play with toys until I’m tired, then I will nap for hours. See, I’m still a baby so I need my sleep.
I’m still working on my housetraining, but have learned to go on puppy wee-wee pads (aren’t I smart?). Foster Mom says that I have a special talent – I SMILE! That’s because I’m such a happy little dog – the day the UYR folks came and took me away from the breeder was the happiest day of my life!! Everyone who sees me always says how cute and sweet I am. Maybe YOU would feel the same if you would give me a chance? One more thing, my vet says that I have a very good temperament (whatever that is?). I have had all my vaccinations and neuter (ouch!), and I am sooooo ready to go to my forever home. Maybe it will be your’s??
UPDATED BIO 10/03/2011: Ryder isn't feeling so well today. He was
brought to the vet and has ear mites and intestinal parasites. He is
going to have to wait a few days for his vaccinations. In the
meantime, he is a sweet, loving puppy who is learning how to do all
kinds of things like walk on grass, play with toys, and be cuddled by

INITIAL BIO 10/02/2011: MEET RYDER! He is an adorable 4 month old 5
lb male puppy who was surrendered with Breanna, Delia & Harper. He is
likely one of their puppies, but Ryder is a maltese/yorkie mix - a
Morkie! Ryder is being fostered in Miramar, FL - he has just arrived
in his foster home so stay tuned for updates on Ryder - what a cutie!
