Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We would like to explain that if you are looking for a perfect dog, they are rarely found in rescue. Our dogs often have unknown histories and we do our very best to evaluate each dog with kids, cats, and other dogs as well as determine how they behave in a home. It is important to understand that we have some specific criteria for each dog based on their backgrounds and input from their foster families. The purpose of these criteria is to better match each dog with an appropriate family. While a certain dog might appeal to you based on breed, size, gender or appearance, you may not match the listed criteria. Please understand that we are not trying to make adoption difficult—we are trying to make each adoption successful for the dog and the new family.
PLEASE CLICK ON READ MORE ABOUT THIS PET FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION!
If you have children, we suggest that prior to applying for a dog, you view the website http://www.livingwithkidsanddogs.com. The information is excellent and can help you determine which dog would be right for your family.
Violet and Victor are a very bonded pair of chihuahuas who are looking for a forever home. Violet is 4 years and 4 pounds--Victor is 3 years and 4.5 pounds. They are gentle, sweet, somewhat shy little dogs who must be rehomed together--no exceptions. Violet is a lilac-factor chi with a soft, medium length coat of indescribable color and beauty. Victor's soft, medium length coat is black with tan. These kids are so loving and want to snuggle together all the time when they aren't with you! They are terrified of children and need a calm, quiet home where they are preferably the only animals in the home. Violet and Victor are house trained when let out every 3-4 hours and they do best with a fenced yard for potty purposes. The yard doesn't need to be large, but it needs to be secure for such little dogs. Violet and Victor are with a 501c3 non profit rescue. They came to rescue with no veterinary care at all. They are both now altered and both had complete dentals. They are up to date on heartworm tests and pills, shots, worming, flea/tick prevention, and have HomeAgain microchips. Their adoption fee of $550 DOESN'T FULLY COVER their veterinary care and is not negotiable.
To ensure that this dog thrives in his new home and that the adoption works out for the dog and your family, these are the requirements for adoption. These criteria are not negotiable. If you do not meet these criteria, please choose another dog that will work out better for your family.
