Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexi came to COH after her family called us concerned because she had an injured leg. She had been an outside only dog. Our volunteers went by to check on her and immediately knew she needed to see a vet. We had x-rays done and Lexi had been shot in the leg and it had shattered the bone. The vet said we needed to amputate the leg. Lexi has been absolutely amazing to watch. She has recovered so well from this and actually seems to be happy and feel great. She gets around wonderfully!!! Lexi is spayed, vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. She is also house trained. She loves to be outside where she can lay in the sunshine. She seems to be on her guard around other dogs right now and that may be due to her leg amputation so she will need a home where she will be the only dog, at least for now. Lexi has had a very rough life until now and she is anxious to start her new life where she will feel loved and secure for the rest of her life. If you think you might be the person Lexi is waiting for please contact us at cohadoptions@gmail.com or fill out an adoption app at www.chainofhopekc.org under the adoptions page. Lexi's adoption fee is $150.
