My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello my name is Sassy. Foster mom calls me MaMa dog or Sassy Pants. I was born in a puppymill and I spent 10 years making puppies while I lived in a small dirty cage. I a little shy with people because the only time I saw them was to be bred or to take my pups away. MaMa Gayle has to admit I am her favorite right now because of how hard my life has been and what we have been through together since I came to her foster home. No one knew when I was rescued that I was pregnant already. I was scheduled to be spayed on a Tues. Thin, malnourised,and in terrorable conditions it was a huge surprize when I slipped away on Sunday and presented 3 puppies! My pup has a home but I am still waiting for someone gentle enough to help me believe in a good world again. Another example of my strenght is that 3 weeks after giving birth I was having trouble going potty and my vet found a big tumor. I had surgery to remove the tumor completely and get spayed. We are glad to say I am 100% cured. It sure was hard to nurse babies with a big incision. I have taken all my shots,am heartworm negative, and spayed.
