Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arrival Story: Harley was rescued from the Macomb Animal Control facility because of his age. He was brought in as a stray and because of his approx. age and because he had kennel cough, could not be placed on the adoption floor so Faithful Friends stepped up to take him.
Age / Weight: Approx. 8 years and 9 lbs.
Personality Description: Poor Harley - he was so badly matted when he was picked up from the shetler that we didn't even know he had a collar on until the foster went to give him a trim. His collar was partially embedded in his neck, poor guy. Due to his severe matting, he had to be shaved but he was a great boy during the entire groom!
Harley is the type of dog that bonds to a few folks and gravitates to those people. While he does currently live with another dog, he is somewhat scared (it's a bigger dog) so either a home with a smaller dog or a home where he could be an only dog woudl be best. He loves to be a lap dog and is a wonderful companion. He is crate trained and potty trained.
Ideal Forever Home: A home without small kids (they might scare him) and without big dogs. He would be a great dog for a retired person or couple.
