Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jacque the AKC Papillon was surrendered by his Owners to us as they were relocating and were unable to take him. Jacque is a typical Papillon, aloof to strangers at first until he decides you are not a threat to his Pet Parent. He weighs around 14-lbs, so is larger than breed standards, is active and enjoys walking a couple of miles a day. He has very nice house manners, crates and travels very well. An adult household is best for Jacque. We have given him a dental and he is overall very healthy for his 11 years young of age. Papillons are long lived so he is middle aged by human standards. They are a shedding breed and Jacque requires a daily brushing. Jacque is living in a foster home with other small breed dogs, although he would be just as happy being an only dog, as he bonds very closely with his Pet Parent. Jacque's mortal enemies are cats. He has been trained to "take care of business" outside and is not pad trained. Jaccque is not a Beginner dog - he needs someone experienced specifically with his breed as well as a leash reactive dog .
