My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cano! This poor boy was surrendered to a high kill shelter by his owner..if this wasn't bad enough,he then had a rescue commitment with out of state Neapolitan Rescue who ultimately abandoned him also!! He sat at this high kill facility for a whole month,which is relatively unheard of..but because he was so sweet and had tugged on the vet tech at the shelter's heartstrings,she just could not let him be put down.I was called and went over the next day and picked him up..he was so happy to be out of there.We are desperately in need of fosters for these big guys.Cano is in need of a foster or permanent home! He is approx 4-5 yrs,black,natural ears,current on all vaccines.Although he seems to get along with dogs in general,he would probably do best with a female dog-medium to large.Would prefer large breed experienced adopter!
