Marcy a bit shy, but enjoys attention and loves to be petted. Her favorite toy is a rope bone which she likes to carry with her wherever she goes. She enjoys chewing Nylabones and playing with "squeeky" toys as well. We've begun teaching Marcy the basics and although she is crate-trained she will need reinforcement with housebreaking.
Marcy's health had been neglected for several years and unfortunately she was infected with heartworms when she came into rescue. She was treated in Feb. '07. With the care she has been receiving, we are confident she will make a complete recovery. Marcy has epilepsy (idiopathic) and requires daily medication, which has been very effective in managing her "petit mal" seizures. Her medication costs about $10 month.
Marcy is now up-to-date on routine vaccinations, already spayed, microchipped and also had a much needed dental cleaning.
