Cody joined the Safe Hounds rescue family after he was removed from a neglectful owner by the NJSPCA. We think Cody is about 4 yrs. old and probably spent most of those years living outside in a raised hutch-style pen. Although this handsome boy has been through an ordeal, his Beagle spirit was not broken. Cody is a happy, playful dog that loves to romp in the yard with his foster buddies. He gets along with other dogs (big and small) and is curious but
not at all agressive toward cats. He keeps his crate clean and is working on becoming reliably housetrained. Cody is now up to date on routine vaccinations, neutered, heartworm neg. (on monthly preventative) and microchipped. Cody is a very sweet boy who is now learning how it feels to have a caring human love him. He's learning to put his sad past behind him and is now eager to meet his forever family.
Additional Notes: Cody is not at a shelter. All of our dogs are cared for in loving foster homes. Please visit:
