This adorable little guy, Nick, was found running the streets along his friend Nemo (also with us) and landed in an overcrowded animal control facility. His family never came to look for him and Nick came to us when he ran out of time. Nick (along with Nemo) made his way from South Carolina to Baltimore on a volunteer transport and managed to charm his transporters and make new friends along the way. One photo in Nemo's web page shows Nick curled up with Nemo on the front seat of the car. Nick is a little shy at first, but friendly, gentle and very sweet, and affectionate. He loves, loves, loves to cuddle and snuggle up in people's lap (sometimes together with Nemo). Nick is a very good boy: he is crate trained and does not have accidents in the house (crated when unsupervised and allowed outside at reasonable time intervals). He likes other dogs and shares his crate with Nemo. Nick weighs around 13lbs, and is very pretty cream and latte colored. He is a young boy, around 2 years old. He loves going for walks, exploring the neighborhood, as well as spending time with his people. Because of his small size he can only go into an adult home or a home with children old enough to handle him gently and with respect. Nick is looking for his very own family to love and cherish forever.
It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children since we don't have foster homes with young children to evaluate the dogs. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption. If you can offer our sweet little guy Nick a loving forever home, please submit an on-line application by
