Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Approximately 2 yrs. old, Mushu is a happy, up for adventure kind of dog. Always ready to explore and full of enthusiasm, this boy is a delight. His attitude is one of joy and exploration: he wants to be part of everything and love everybody. He is splendid with children. Mushu is a slender 12 pounds with a beautiful coat.
He was found with another Pekingese that we believe to be his sister. They appear to be the same age and have very similar personalities. Her name is Pippa and she is being fostered in New Jersey. We worried when we split the pair that he would grieve, but he hasn't seemed to.
Mushu doesn’t share well with his foster Peke brothers so would probably do better in a home with a submissive dog. He’s fine with bigger dogs though, living comfortably with his golden retriever foster sister. Not much of a barker, Mushu could become an eloquent talker in the finest tradition of muzzle raising speech.
Mushu is neutered, housebroken, and crate trained. He is an active, happy boy who -- unlike many Pekes -- needs exercise regularly. He’d be a perfect dog for an active family.
Mushu is being fostered in Millsboro, DE and his asking adoption fee is $300.

Please read about adopting from us on our home page by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
