My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny, a sweet hound mix pup (Whippett, Greyhound, Rhodesian Ridge Back???) approx. 2 yrs.old who will melt your heart with her beautiful brown eyes. Penny weighs in at about #50. She is a well behaved girl who is housebroken, crate trained and responds well to basic commands. Penny likes to go on long leash walks and would make someone a great jog partner. Penny is frightened by Thunder Storms/Fireworks (perhaps that's how she became a stray) but will find a safe spot to settle down in and responds well to her person consoling her. She would like to have a home to call her own where she has a fenced yard to romp and play in with perhaps a fursibling or two. Penny also enjoys her leisure time just lying in the sun or under a shady tree. Penny enjoys car rides and prefers the front seat. She gets along well with other dogs but insists on being the queen of the castle. Penny is a very elegant looking sweetheart of a pup. She is undergoing heartworm treatments currently and will be ready for her furever home shortly. She must be an indoor dog and live as a part of your family. An experienced dog home is preferable. Please take time to consider the costs of owning a pet, your lifestyle and your ability to financially care for a new pet . Personal & vet references and a home visit are required.
