Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lily is a 3 year old female spayed Australian Shepherd. She is a little on the smaller side of the breed, weighing about 40 pounds. She has been attending doggy daycare and training classes since she was only a few months old and is extremely well socialized with dogs. She is well socialized with people as well, but like most Aussies, she can be protective of her home and family with strangers. Once she gets to know you, she is a love bug and craves attentions and belly rubs!
Lily has taken Basic through Intermediate Obedience and 2 years of Agility Training. She is a master of all the agility equipment, including the weave poles, and just loves to do agility!
Lily is looking for an active home with no small children under the age of 10, as small children make her anxious and she reacts in a typical herding dog fashion. She is good with other animals and could live with other dogs, cats or anything else furry or feathery. She has natural herding instincts, although she has never had any formal herding training, and is a natural at agility, so needs a home that will continue to work her very active brain and keep her challenged. She is very obedient, willing to work with you and is eager to learn new things.
She is current on all vaccinations and health checks and does very well on a raw diet, but could be switched to high quality kibble if needed. She takes a homeopathic anti-anxiety remedy as she is a very sensitive girl and this seems to help her manage her stress levels on a daily basis.
If you think you may be the right home for Lily, please email info@canineharmony.com for an adoption application. Adoption process includes a detailed application, interview, home check and small adoption fee.
