Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Age: 5 years
Cat: Not tested
Small Pets: Not tested
Level: Novice
Location: CT
Tasha came to RRUFF from a CT Humane Society where she absolutely captured the hearts of all the volunteers. After she started showing signs of kennel stress and a fear of men, they contacted us to see if we could help her. She can be a little shy when she first meets someone new, but she warms up very quickly. Her foster parents have not seen any shyness towards men, so we believe that her kennel stress may have been causing her reaction to men at the shelter. Since being in foster care, she has really come out of her shell and she is playful and affectionate with her foster family and everyone she meets.
Tasha absolutely adores and is appropriate to be around children of all ages. She is very gentle, listens to commands and will give up possessions to anyone who asks. She is also good with both male and female dogs. She is submissive and will walk away from confrontational situations.
Tasha is 5 years old and weighs around 90 lbs. She is 98% house trained, 100% crate trained, knows basic obedience commands (sit, down, stay, shake) and walks very well on leash. She is very food motivated and eager to please, so she has enjoyed attending obedience classes and working to please. She would make someone a nice obedience or Rally-O prospect. Use the following link for more information on obedience rallys: http://www.akc.org/events/rally/index.cfm
So if you are looking for a possible Rally companion or just a member of the family, Tasha is the Rottie for you. We can guarantee you'll fall in love after one meeting...everyone else has.
