Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
By all odds, this poor little emaciated, bruised and battered little staffie should never have made it out of the city kill shelter she was brought to after she was found just weeks ago as a stray. But there was something so special about her pleading brown eyes that made it impossible for the staff to give up on her so fast. So an email went out to the rescue groups about this gentle sweet 5 year old Amstaff who loved everyone despite the apparent abuse and neglect she suffered in her short life. A rescue group was able to take her in and arrangements were made for Tiffany to board at the vets. She fast became the house favorite! In fact, she is so loved, they put her bed under the reception desk so they could keep her close by. The cats don't seem to mind sharing their space with their new canine buddy and Tiffany is equally happy with her new room mates...especially when they leave left overs for her to try to steal when she thinks no one is looking. Each day that goes by leaves Tiffany looking and feeling a lot better. Her sores are being replaced by a gorgeous blanket of soft white velvety fur. She is gaining weight and her badly cut up leg is healing...although she did sadly lose a toe. At just over 30 lbs, we expect Tiffany to weigh in at close to 40 lbs. once she's at her perfect weight. She has a good energy on her walks, greets other dogs warmly and doesn't pull...well, maybe just a little when she sees a squirrel. And once arriving home, or little love bug would love nothing more then a little snack and cuddle, in that order...lol. She loves to be close and would probably give another toe to share the couch with you while you watch The Food Channel...her favorite show of course! If you're looking for a wonderful low maintenance companion, look no further. Maybe you'll be fortunate enough to know what a little gem our Tiffany is. If you would like to set up a play date to meet her, please call Beth at 914 774 4089 or 212 496 1053.
