Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cricket joined the family after his owner, an animal hoarder, was caught stealing to provide food for her too many animals. He was kept in a small cage, under constant covers to keep him quiet and always exposed to cigarette smoke. He's quite the singer and dances to country music. He'll call along to "God Bless America" if you have the right version. He spends his days on my shoulder, grooming my hair and sometimes taking nips at my ears! I was told he got his name because of the quiet chirps he makes in the back of his cage, but I've never heard that. He'll PEEP at you like a baby chicken because we had 24 of them in the house when he was first brought in. They were his buddies until we put them outside in their own home. IF you are lucky, he will tell you "Shhh, Shhh, Good Night," as you cover his cage in the evenings. His most annoying call is similar to an alarm clock or stove timer buzzer and we haven't heard it since he settled in, but before we knew it was him, we walked around the house checking alarm clocks and ovens!! Estimates on his age put him around 9-11 years old. He's a gem of a bird that needs a forever home.
