My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Polly is a beautiful medium sized Shepherd/Hound mix. She is about four years young and weighs 58 pounds. She came to BARK in November with her four puppies who have all since been been adopted while Polly patiently waits for her forever home. Her mild mannered, friendly, quiet, and affectionate personality will make her a great fit into any home. She is wonderful with children and gets along great with other dogs. She would make a perfect companion for another dog or would do fine as an only dog. Polly is crate trained but will need a little work on a leash as she does pull. She is a very easy going and all around wonderful girl who is very deserving of a loving, caring home. She does not require a lot of attention but will happily accept all the attention you're willing to give her. She has not been around cats, but given her calm, and gentle nature, we think she would be fine with cats. She has glaucoma in her right eye and most likely can see very little if at all out of that eye. She has to have an eyedrop put into her eye each day for the Glaucoma, it costs about $11.00 a month for the eye drops. The glaucoma also causes her eye to bulge a bit but she is still just the cutest dog ever!
