Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there! My name is Reno, but my name should have been Tigger cuz I am the bounciest, trounciest beagle boy ever! I love to run and play chase or tug with my beagle brother , Cody, and I REALLY love doggie day care. I know sit, down, and come, but I am not so good at staying yet. I do a good imitation of a T-Rex when I want to see what’s happening on the kitchen counter or dining room table. Mom says I am very agile! I love walks and Mom says that the gentle leader head harness has made all the difference – I don’t pull when I wear it, though I am still a little annoyed that I can’t get Mom to move faster on our walks – can’t she smell all this stuff????
I also like just chilling out by the fireplace next to Mom’s chair, or up on the sofa with Mom. I lay right up next to her, put my head in her lap, and roll over for belly rubs! At night I cuddle up in the big bed. A lot of the time I will sleep with my head on either Mom or Cody after giving Mom a big kiss.
I share my toys pretty well unless it is a particularly tasty chew or a treat-filled Kong. I even share food from my dish. I am also pretty quiet for a beagle. I only bark at squirrels and rabbits and to say hi to the dogs that walk by my front window. Once in a great while I will actually bay. When Mom wants me to be quiet, she just pulls the shade.
I am on a regular schedule and haven’t had an accident in the house in forever. Cody taught me how to go nudge Mom’s elbow if she doesn’t notice me sitting in front of her to say I gotta go! I go into my crate with no fuss and get rewarded with a treat. I prefer to spend the day with someone rather than be home alone. And I need to be busy, busy, busy. If you want a dog that loves to train and would probably do well at agility or flyball, here I am. I would love a forever family where I will get LOTS of exercise and attention, play, and cuddling. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that I love kids too. If you are looking for a sweet, personable and energetic addition to your family, I’m your boy.
