Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
INITIAL BIO 08/20/11: Nikki is a sweet and adorable 4 month old yorkie mix (we think Schnauzer-Yorkie or Schnorkie.... or Daschund-Yorkie or Dorkie!) who was surrendered to the shelter by her owner who no longer wanted her. Nikki already weighs 8.5 lbs and will likely grow to be between 12-16 lb when full grown (though we can never predict exactly how large she will get. Our vet said probably closer to 12, but we can never be sure). Nikki is happy to be out of that high kill shelter where she was brought and living the high life with her foster mom in Boynton Beach, FL.
Nikki is new to UYR and will need another set of puppy shots and to be spayed the first week of September. She appears to love to play with other dogs and is learning from her foster mom, Phyllis, how to be a good little puppy and learn puppy manners. She isn't housetrained yet. If you think you're the home for little Nikki, please fill out an application. Thanks!
