My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Precious is an adult Green Iguana. She was an abandoned pet, who was not properly cared for. Most-likely due to a lack of UV light from her past owners, she has metabolic bone disease. Precious has limited movement in her limbs, making it difficult for her to climb. Her special needs require an enclosure set-up that is different from other iguanas--she would need very low branches, a smaller water dish, etc. She also needs daily calcium supplements, which can be purchased at a pet store. She is very friendly and loves attention. However, due to her special needs, we are looking for a home that has had previous experience with iguanas. She will need to be the only iguana in the enclosure, due to her limited mobility. We are requesting a minimum adoption fee of $40 to ensure she goes to a good home, and to help care for over 200 rescued exotic animals currently housed at our facility. Please make sure you have done your research on caring for this pet, before contacting us regarding an adoption. We will NOT ship any of our animals. Thanks for your interest!
