Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cocker Spaniel Miss Minnie is 20#'s, 2 yrs old and 14 inches at the shoulders, was one of the last on the list to be rescued from a puppymill. She is quiet, barking occassionally, active but settles down wonderfully and is very friendly, also sleeps thro the night. She's been around older children.
Loving all the attention she gets, she sits to get petted, and before eating. She is crate trained, housetrained, and has learned the leash/collar quite well. She is a very fast learner and so smart, she knows come/sit/stay/lets go/down/off/heel/ in just 2 days she learned to weave thro my legs as I step.
Loves to be around people and a, lap dog. Initially she was afraid of steps & smooth floors but in no time she has mastered them. She just came here Jan 26th needing shots/bathing/spayed, but I wanted you to hear what a neat dog she is alread and consider following her progress iln the next couple weeks and adopting her. I am confident she will train up very nicely and make a family a wonderful pet. She will be available for adoption after the 20th of Feb. Adoption donation is $250.
UPDATE : Minnie loves to play with stuffies, and is nondestructive. She is very attentive to commands, and listens well. Possibly a candidate for freestyling and/or agility or just plain having fun doing tricks.
UPDATE: Minnie is up to date on all shots including bordella,3 yr rabies, booster and is Heart Worm negative.
UPDATE: Minnie loves to go for walks and eating the snow, her responsive vocabulary is reaching 20 words (up,down, off, stay, sit, come, heel, letsgo, leaveit,no,eh,here, shake(paw),eat, bed,in,go,outside, potty)
she seems to get excited (barking) with some dogs and will heel at request and others she ignores
She will need a fenced in area while outside or on leash (those spring rabbits/squirrels/possums) . I am teaching her to " sit/look". She is on a natural diet for dry skin.
