Here's what the humans have to say about me:
During a visit to our local humane society, I noticed a quiet little Sheltie/Border CollieX(?) sitting quietly in her kennel. I asked the attendant if I could take her out. She was so excited to see the sunshine. To my surprise she was still at the shelter when I returned 2 weeks later! Shep was not doing too well. She had not seen the sunshine all week. The spark was gone from her eyes, and she had an E-collar on her neck from worrying her spay incision. How could NO ONE have seen this lovely girl? I asked the shelter what her chances of making it out ALIVE were, their answer was "slim to none". I just could not leave her there. So now is your golden opportunity to have one of the finest, smartest and special dogs I have ever had the privilege to meet. I would not force her to stay here with all the Poms. (even though I would LOVE to keep her!!) She deserves a family that can walk, run, spoil and play with her. She is a QUIET girl, walks wonderfully on a leash, is doing very well in the house, LOVES TOYS and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She would prefer to have another dog to play with. Her new family MUST have a FENCED YARD for her to play in and she must remain an INSIDE DOG. She must have her heart worm & flea prevention every month, and a yearly Vet check up. She will require regular walks and lots of love. Please do not even consider her if you cannot meet these reqirements. A home visit, Vet reference, two personal references, signed adoption contract and 125. adoption donation will be required. Shep has been bathed, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm tested, dewormed, and flea prevention applied. The video is 5 mins long. The first part shows how much she loves to run, and the last part shows how well behaved she is inside, even around lots of other dogs, people and even people food. Please email us for an adoption questionnaire. We are located in Spartanburg, SC
