Thanks so much for visiting my page - I just love it when new people stop by! What was it about me that made you click on my bio? Was it my stunning profile picture (it's so tough being this beautiful!)??? Or was it my excellent hunting skills at the pond (those gold things MOVE and taunt me!) that caught your eye??? Or how about my adorable little face (my foster mom tells me I'm the cutest little love bug - but shhhh, we can't tell my foster siblings!)?? Whatever your reason for clicking on my picture - I'm so very glad you did!
Let me introduce myself so that we can get to know each other a little better. My name is Carly and I am a 1 year old female Miniature Pinscher who is on the look out for a caring and loving home to call my own. I was found by a very nice Animal Control officer named Lisa who found me wandering the streets alone and took me into her care. She called the kind volunteers at Waggs & Wishes Animal Rescue and these kind hearted people introduced me to my awesome foster mom Paula and foster dad Tim.
I'm currently staying with my foster mom and dad and my three foster siblings - boy do we have a ton of fun running in moms fenced back yard! My foster mom says that I am a sweet little gal who is playful and kindhearted. While I tend to be a bit shy when first meeting new people or in new places - give me 5-10 minutes and I'll be right at home! I love playing with my foster siblings, and have met everything from great dane's to rat terriers and have gotten along great with them all. I've also met a few kids and while they are super fun to play with, I really need a home that has kids that are over 7 years of age and understand that us Min Pin's have delicate little legs and need to be handled with care. I don't think I've ever met a cat before...but I'd probably leave them alone if they weren't interested in becoming my friend. I am an extremely smart young lady - I know how to crate without a fuss, sit, shake, give kisses on command, and am working on reinforcing doing my personal business outside. I've been to a very nice veterinarian who said I was a very healthy little girl - I've been de-wormed (yuck!), have gotten my DHPP and rabies vaccine (ouch!),
bordatella vaccine, am Heartworm negative, have been given a dose of Frontline, and will be spayed on Monday August 8, 2011.
