We have 3 adoption applications under review for PercyFive months ago 2-3 year old Percy came to Small Chance in very rough shape. He was severely anemic from being covered in fleas, with two bad knees that made walking difficult, about 5 pounds underweight-such a skinny little guy, and just one big mat of fur. Now he has two great knees thanks to two surgeries, has put on those 5 pounds, is no longer is anemic, is flea free, and is looking gorgeous thanks to several wonderful donated spa days by a great groomer. Percy even had his teeth cleaned-he is looking absolutely amazing and is one handsome and healthy young dog.
Percy is silly, sunny, and funny-just a happy little guy. He loves toys and is always very happy to carry one around with him, no matter how big or small it is. One of his favorite things to do is to flop on his back and writhe around with his 4 long legs waving in the air-all the while juggling a toy in his front paws. It is a wonderful sight to behold!
Percy is crate trained, potty trained, and is learning to walk on a leash. He likes other dogs as long as they do not bully him but he would be just fine as an only dog since he loves to cuddle next to his people for pets and play. He is not high energy or a couch potato-just a nice mix of play and power napping. Percy does have some slight cataracts which are a genetic problem that can appear in young poodles thanks to years of bad breeding practices. Dont let that deter you from adopting him-he sees perfectly fine and is just an absolutely amazing dog!
Adoption fee is $200.
